The users who are already known in our platform will receive an invitation to renew their membership each year in December.
In case you have missed this invitation or have deleted it, you can still log into the BeSTRO website (dashboard) where a message will appear asking you to renew your membership (together with a link to the membership renewal page).

ESTRO & BeSTRO-BARO membership fee (MD Candidates in Radiation Oncology)
ESTRO, the European SocieTy for Radiotherapy and Oncology and the BeSTRO have made an arrangement for a joint membership for their young members (= junior members). With this joint membership junior members have the possibility to benefit from a reduced membership fee. Junior members are able to choose to become an ESTRO member for the price of 55 EUR instead of the regular 75 EUR. This membership is not mandatory, but is strongly recommended since ESTRO offers you some benefits as described below.
Moreover, if you choose for this Joint Membership formula the BeSTRO reduces its membership fee with 20 EUR . In summary:
- Regular Young membership fee ESTRO: 75 EUR
- Regular Junior membership fee BeSTRO – BARO: 114 EUR
- Joint Young/Junior membership fee ESTRO – BeSTRO – BARO: 145 EUR*
*The membership renewal is still to be done via the BeSTRO website and the full amount has to be paid onto the BeSTRO bank account. The BeSTRO secretariat will supply to ESTRO the needed membership data (as described below, see ‘Membership Renewal Process’).

Membership Renewal Process
- The renewal procedure has to be done through BeSTRO. BeSTRO will manage(1) your registration with ESTRO and send your details (name, date of birth, name and address of your institute and your e-mail address) to ESTRO.
- ESTRO will process your registration and you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
- In August 2020, ESTRO switched over to a completely new IT platform. If you were an ESTRO member in 2020, you should have received their request to re-activate your MyESTRO account. If you have not done so yet, you should do this asap.
If you were not an ESTRO member in 2020, the ESTRO office will create an account for you on their website and send the instructions on how to activate your MyESTRO account to you.
How to (re-)activate your MyESTRO account?
- Step 1: click on this link https://estro.org/Membership/Register/Your-login-details
- Step 2: insert e-mail address and create a new password. Note: please use the e-mail address that is used for your BeSTRO account
- Step 3: carry out all remaining steps (insert personal information, professional information, preferences)
- Step 4: a confirmation e-mail is sent to your e-mail address. Please open the e-mail and click on the verification link.
- Step 5: click on verify
- Step 6: click on continue
- Step 7: log on to your new MyESTRO account with your new credentials.
- Step 8: ready! Welcome to your new MyESTRO account
Some important deadlines to bear in mind
ESTRO membership is annual and is valid from the 1st of January to the 31st of December. We advise you to renew before the end of December to enjoy uninterrupted access to the Radiotherapy & Oncology. Upon your renewal, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your credentials and be able to register for ESTRO conferences/courses at a discounted ‘in training’ rate.
If you would like to enroll for the joint membership before the BeSTRO-BARO membership renewal is open on our website, you should:
- (re-)activate your MyESTRO account if you have not done so yet(2)
- notify the BeSTRO secretariat by sending an e-mail The BeSTRO secretariat will manage(1) your registration with ESTRO by providing your details (name, date of birth, name and address of your institute and your e-mail address) to ESTRO
- confirm your membership renewal on the BeSTRO website once the membership renewal is open and pay the full amount onto the BeSTRO bank account
- (re-)activate your MyESTRO account if you have not done so yet(2)
- renew your membership through the BeSTRO website and pay the full amount onto the BeSTRO bank account. The BeSTRO secretariat will manage(1) your registration with ESTRO by providing your details (name, date of birth, name and address of your institute and your e-mail address) to ESTRO
