The GEC-ESTRO Workshop 2026 will take place on 19–20 November 2026 in Seville, Spain, under the theme “Maximizing Brachytherapy Efficiency: Smart Workflow Solutions for Success.”
Organised by the GEC-ESTRO Committee, the workshop brings together clinicians, physicists, RTTs, RT nurses, researchers and industry partners to explore the latest developments, innovations and collaborative practices in brachytherapy.
The programme will feature a plenary opening session on smart workflow solutions and efficiency in modern brachytherapy, the GEC-ESTRO Recognition Keynote Lecture, and site-specific parallel sessions presented by the GEC-ESTRO Working Groups, covering Anal-Rectal, Brachy-HERO, BRAPHYQS, Breast, Gynae, Head & Neck & Skin, and UroGEC.
Other highlights include a joint session with the European Association of Dermato-Oncology (EADO) on skin cancer treatment strategies, dedicated sessions for RTTs and RT nurses, an interactive “Meet the Working Group Chairs” forum, and education and training opportunities for young brachytherapy professionals.
The workshop will also provide valuable opportunities for networking and exchange with leading experts and industry representatives.
