We are pleased to share information about the ESTRO course on Physics for Modern Radiotherapy. This course offers an in-depth overview of the physical principles underlying modern radiotherapy, including dose delivery, imaging, radiobiology, dosimetry, quality assurance, and risk management, all with strong clinical relevance.

Designed primarily for trainees and early-career professionals in radiation oncology and radiation physics, the course combines expert lectures with case-based discussions to support the practical implementation of advanced radiotherapy techniques.

The course follows a blended format, starting with weekly online webinars from 28 April and concluding with an in-person session in Bucharest, Romania (10–12 June 2026). Registration remains open after the start of the online component.
