On Saturday, September 27, 2025, the LKI and the Brain Tumor Working Group are organizing a thematic afternoon focused on life with and after a brain tumor. The event will take place at the Maria-Theresiacollege in Leuven and brings together insights from healthcare, research, and lived experience.
The program is aimed at a broad audience: (former) patients, loved ones, healthcare professionals, researchers, and students. We believe the program is highly relevant for your members and would greatly appreciate it if you could help spread the word within your network.
What’s on the program?
During five parallel workshops (each at 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM), we will explore topics such as:
- Brain tumor research: from cell culture to mouse models
- Clinical research and innovative treatment strategies
- Tailored AYA care for young adults
- Neuropsychological rehabilitation after a brain tumor
- Returning to work after brain injury
Participation is free, but registration is required.
This is not organized by BeSTRO.
